Kansas City Steak Company has been in business for over 75 years and their steak know-how shines through. Famous for their western-Kansas beef that has been strictly corn-fed.
Kansas City Steak offers tenderloin tips and strips, which are just right for stroganoffs, stews, or kabobs. They are also one of the few companies, if not the only company, to offer a seasoned steak certified by the American Heart Association. Steaks offered include:

Each steak offered by this company has been USDA certified to be either Prime, with marbling that enhances flavor and tenderness, or Choice, the next level after Prime grading. It must be noted that only one to two percent of all beef in the United States qualifies for the coveted Prime rating. The private stock of Prime carried by this company ensures that each steak is tender and flavorful. In addition, the company also offers certified Angus beef as well as Waygu Kobe beef.
They also offer bake and serve gourmet delicacies such as Beef Wellington, Kansas City Barbecue combinations, Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced Hams, Roasted Turkey, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Crabcakes, Lobster Tail, and Snow Crab Claws. Desserts offered include mouth-watering treats such as cheesecakes, tarts, charlottes, and a special holiday Noel log.
As of this review, combinations such as steak and seafood along with seasonings and desserts are available, however, sides and vegetables are not currently available on the website. All food arrives raw and vacuum-packaged for freshness, so thawing and cooking of all meat and seafood products is required. Desserts generally only require a thawing, then they can be consumed.
The website offered by this company is extremely easy to navigate. On the left hand side of the screen is a menu that allows the user to choose from the newest items available. The menu also breaks the beef offerings into easy to navigate pages. Steaks are on one web page, while chicken, seafood, desserts, and seasonings each have their own page.
When a selected link on the menu is clicked by the user, a drop down box appears, which gives the user the chance to choose which type of product he or she prefers to view. For example, by clicking on the "Pork" link, the user is given a drop down menu of ham, bacon, ribs, or chops.
The top of the screen offers a menu of a different type. Using this menu, the user can view recipes and grilling tips, as well as serving suggestions. There is both an indoor and an outdoor grilling chart available to the user, as well as a page offering entertaining tips. The website also offers videos that show users how to grill and prepare their steak.
They even offer a wine tab, which users can click to learn the best wine to pair with their meat or seafood selection. The top of the home screen also offers the ability for customers to track their orders and to view their accounts.
There is a special section for gift ideas and gift certificates as well as specialty gift-boxes. For those users who order at least $49.95 worth of merchandise, the company offers special add-on deals that are not otherwise available.
Customer service is easy to navigate as are the Frequently Asked Questions. Each item is guaranteed by the company to be delivered as ordered, hand-trimmed, and to meet their exacting standards. Check the Sizes Before You Order
I thought some of the steaks on special were way to small to be called a steak. I didn't realize how small 4 ounces is. They tasted good, but I didn't get what I was expecting. If you're going to order, get the bigger steaks and read the sizes of everything that on special.

Glad it Wasn't My Money
I was rather underwhelmed. I received this as gift for this company and ordered the Prime Ribeye's. Good delivery, packaged well, so I couldn't wait to fire up the coals. At $16 per pound, honestly, they were no better than supermarket meat. Glad it wasn't my money.
